Add Scam Checker to your phone
Keep the free Fraud Doctor Scam Checker one tap away. The next time a suspicious text, email or call comes in, open it from your home screen and check the warning signs before you act.
iPhone or iPad (Safari)
Step 1. Open our Scam Checker page in Safari — just tap this link: thefrauddoctor.ca/scam-checker. Then find the Share button at the bottom of the screen. It looks like a little square with an arrow pointing up.
Step 2. Slide your finger up the list until you see the words “Add to Home Screen”, then tap them.
Step 3. Tap “Add” in the top corner. That’s it! Look at your home screen — you’ll see the Fraud Doctor shield called “Scam Checker”.
Android (Chrome)
Step 1. Open our Scam Checker page in Chrome — just tap this link: thefrauddoctor.ca/scam-checker. Then tap the three dots (⋮) in the top corner of the screen.
Step 2. A menu pops up. Tap “Add to Home screen”. (It might say “Install app” instead — that’s the same thing.)
Step 3. Tap “Install” or “Add”. That’s it! Look at your home screen — you’ll see the Fraud Doctor shield called “Scam Checker”.
